DarkHeart is an adult-only dating app. Child safety is our highest priority. We do not allow minors on the platform, and we have zero tolerance for any content or behavior that involves or targets children.

This page summarizes our child safety standards. It works together with our Terms and Conditions, Community Guidelines, and Privacy Policy.

Age requirement

DarkHeart is only for adults 18 and older. We monitor for underage use and will terminate, suspend, or ask you to verify your account if we have reason to believe you may be underage.

Zero tolerance

We have zero tolerance for any content or behavior involving minors, including:

• Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)
• Grooming behavior targeting minors
• Sharing or soliciting images of minors
• Any content involving children under 18

How we protect the community

Content monitoring

We use multi-layered moderation, including AI and human review, to detect inappropriate content. This includes image analysis, text filtering, and escalation to human review when needed.

Profile photo screening

Profile photos are screened before they are approved for display. Images that appear to show minors, or that fail our safety checks, are rejected.

In-app reporting

You can report child safety concerns directly in the app. Reports marked as child safety are treated as high priority and reviewed by our safety team.

What happens when we find a violation

Violations can result in immediate account termination, content removal, and a platform ban. Where required or appropriate, we may:

• Preserve evidence
• Notify law enforcement
• Report to NCMEC (or equivalent authorities)
• Document the case for legal compliance

How to report

If you see a child safety concern:

1. Use Report in the DarkHeart app and choose a Child Safety reason, or
2. Email safety@darkheart.app, or
3. Report directly to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org
