Trad Goth: Goth Style Guide

Trad goth is the look and attitude that grew out of late-1970s post-punk: Bauhaus, Siouxsie, The Cure, the Batcave. Black clothes, teased hair, fishnet, leather, and silver jewelry were never a store kit. They were what people wore to the same clubs, playing the same records.
The silhouette is angular and lived-in: band shirts, long skirts or black trousers, a worn leather layer, pale makeup, and boots you can actually dance in. Music matters more than a costume checklist. If the records do not land, the wardrobe is just dark fashion.
Style is a signal, not a personality test. On DarkHeart you can match with people who still care about the music and the rooms, then see if the chemistry survives last call.
